The hotel is perfectly located, just a short 5-minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in the area. It's also close to the beautiful Lake District, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and clean, with excellent showers that provide a refreshing experience after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget about breakfast - it's absolutely delicious and sets you up for a full day ahead.
All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

it was ok food good room very clean and friendly staff
Why did I have to pay £8 each extra to have a sea view room ? dont they put people in sea view rooms unless they pay extra money , Getting to room was a pain not enough lifts or space on the walk way, Why ? do they make you book a table to eat in the restaurant then let people go in the restaurant in t shirts shorts and jeans for evening dinner dont people respect good service any more and in the morning there was someone in track suite bottoms and a vest this is a nice hotel not a £18 per night boarding house, if I was in charge they would of not been let in the restaurant unless they were dressed smart, Dress sense in a restaurant means respect for everything and everyone there. It needs changing

One of the standout features of this hotel is its fantastic location. Situated just a short 5-minute walk from the lake, it's the perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, being close to all the restaurants and bars in the area was a big bonus for us. We had plenty of choices for dining out and enjoying the vibrant nightlife.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was exceptional.

The food was excellent and the all inclusive bar was great - a good choice and if you wanted any other drinks not on the All inc it was only £1.
My only criticism would be that the hotel could do with another lift as it was often full and you had to wait for the next one. This is a minor point and didn't really affect our stay.

The surroundings were beautiful and we enjoyed being able to explore the nearby area easily. the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel welcome. We also appreciated the spacious and clean room, which was equipped with all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay.
Some aspects of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Despite the location being ideal for exploring the area, we found that it was quite noisy, making it difficult to relax in peace.

Good location with friendly staff. Good choice of food but hotel itself quite dated.
Bedroom floor ran in a slope and tiny bathrooms.

Stayed here for a business trip and I must say it was a great experience. The room was impeccably clean and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town with free parking available. The breakfast was exceptional, with a variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the freshly brewed coffee and the delicious scrambled eggs.
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike. The shower was a bit on the small side, but it worked perfectly fine.

We have stayed here before. We came for 3 days dbb. Quality of meals & entertainment was very good and we would stay here again.
Bathrooms were very small for the larger guests and shower pressure was a bit dissapointing. The exterior of the building was extremely shabby.

Location good,lovely breakfast
The room we were allocated 138, was a clean room, with everything we needed, comfy bed.The 'view' out of the window was 'lovely!!' Right opposite the laundry room, with a generator sat outside the window. I think these kind of rooms should be rented out at a much reduced rate. I know you dont spend your holiday the whole day in your room, but it would have been nice to have had a room with natural light & more of a view. I felt we were rammed in at the end of a corridor.Would definately reccommend people to ask for a sea view room.

Our stay in this bed and breakfast was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the lake just a few minutes away. The spacious and clean room had an en suite bathroom with an excellent shower. The breakfast was top-notch, with fresh and quality ingredients. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel at home. The security of the place was also excellent, ensuring our peace of mind.
One aspect that could have been better was the Wi-Fi connection, which was occasionally spotty.

The Claremont was very clean, both dining rooms and bedroom, the only thing what is inconvient is 1 lift and 1 way of getting up and down stairs, also not many toilets only in basement.
